Absolute Control

With extreme simplicity, Absolute Control makes it much easier to use your PC. This application, once installed, stays in your system tray and shows an icon for each disc unit, although sometimes it also repeats them. If you hover the mouse cursor over them, it gives you information about them, such as their memory usage. It also lets you open the disc tray by clicking an icon.

It also lets you control your screen options, such as the resolution and restart or shutdown options. It works with Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP (although some options are only for XP, such as the one that shuts down the computer).
